Starving the Soul... Metaphorically Speaking with Dr. Anita Johnston, Ph.D., CEDS-S Karin Lewis, MA, LMFT, CEDS

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Anita Johnston, Ph.D., CEDS-S, clinical psychologist, certified eating disorders specialist and supervisor, author of “Eating in the Light of the Moon: How Women Can Transform Their Relationships with Food Through Myth, Metaphor, and Storytelling,” and eating psychology pioneer with a passion for working with eating difficulties for over thirty-five years.

Join Karin and Dr. Johnston for a discussion on the transformational power of collective healing practices, what it means to “belong” as opposed to “fitting in,” the use of metaphors from a therapeutic standpoint, shifting one’s understanding of triggers, holistically addressing hunger, Anita’s best selling novel, “Eating in the Light of the Moon,” and much more!
